March 11

Thank you to everyone who has subscribed to Laying the Point. So many of you have sent messages of support. I created this newsletter in the hope of providing valuable sports betting information and content outside of the chaotic social media spaces.

Our launch week has been an unequivocal success. Based on our recommended plays, subscribers have amassed a record of 24-8-2 for +19.25 units.

Over the next couple of weeks and months, I hope to grow the newsletter and welcome voices from within the community, who wish to share their knowledge and insight with others.

We are an independent publication, word of mouth would be greatly appreciated. Please share the subscription link with friends and family who you feel would benefit from our content.

This is just the beginning...

Vegas Golden Knights vs Pittsburgh Penguins

Vegas just simply can not score lately. They have scored less than 3 goals in 4 of their last 5 games played. It seems that finding chemistry in their lineup since Eichel came in is a struggle. Pittsburgh has lost their last two games, but against very stiff competition in Florida and Carolina. Playing the Pens at home is tough to begin with, but an angry Pens team trying to end a losing streak? Not a good spot for Vegas

Pick - Penguins over Golden Knights In Regulation (-1.17) - 1 unit

under 6 ( +100 ) - 1 unit

Minnesota Wild vs Columbus Blue Jackets

Minnesota has allowed 3 goals or more in 9/10 games. Columbus has allowed or scored 3 or more goals in 10/10 games. Also, Columbus played last night and apparently had a flight issue and got in late after their game against the Islanders. A game in which they lost 6 - 0. Minny has way more to play for as they are on a tight playoff race in the West, while Columbus should be feeling morally defeated after losing their last 4 games and a lack of rest.

Picks - Over 6.5 ( -130) 2 units

Wild In Regulation (-133) 1 unit

Charlotte vs New Orleans

I love finding patterns in the data. These two teams have rotated wins(SU and ATS) 5 games in a row. With New Orleans winning the last meeting. Combine it with the fact that CJ and Ingram will be out, we have a play on the Hornets. In addition, since the 2020 season, the Hornets are 10-5 ATS as a road fav. The Hornets are in a tight race for one of the play-in spots. They cannot afford to lost winnable games.

Pick: Charlotte- 2.5 (1 unit)

The Knicks are 7-3 o/u in their last 10 and 20-13 o/u as an underdog. H2h, these teams have hit over 4 games in a row. In their past 3 games, both teams are on a scoring binge (Grizz: 130 ppg vs NY 118ppg)

Pick: Over 228( .75 units)

I like Toronto in this spot. The Suns are coming back after a 3 game road and with Booker back in the lineup. Without Paul in the lineup, FVV should be able to dominate the Suns' guards. I think this is a letdown spot for a Suns team who is coming off an impressive win against the Heat and have all but secured the #1 seed.

Pick: Toronto +5 (1 unit)
