Buffalo Sabres vs Calgary Flames

The Sabres are coming into this game after getting destroyed by the Oilers last night. They are 1 - 5 against Calgary on the road and 1 - 5 overall. As well, they will be using their backup Tokarski who has struggled this year allowing 3.26 goals per game. Buffalo has only won 3 of their last 10 games on the road while Calgary has won 8 of their last 10 at home scoring 3+ goals, 9 out of 10 times.

Dallas vs Philly

This is a big statement game for Philly. Since the Harden trade, they have played 2 championship-caliber teams at home (Denver and Brooklyn) and have lost both.
Dallas is coming off a win against a Nets team without Irving. They stole that game. The Mavs, don’t have the players to match up with Embid.

Pick: Philly-3 (1 unit)

Portland vs Brooklyn

The Nets score almost 8 less ppg at home vs on the road. The “Irving” effect, needs to be considered when capping Nets homes games. I think playing the Nets as 14 point fav is a risk.

However, I like their team total. With Durant back, the Nets' scoring has increased(123 ppg last 3 games). But they are also playing a poorly defensive Trailblazers team.

Portland ranks 26th in defensive points allowed per game. Their last 10 opponents have scored 119+ ppg. In those 10 games, their opponents have averaged 125.5 ppg.

Pick: Brooklyn over 121 TT (1 unit)

Memphis vs Atlanta

Both teams rank in the top 10 in offensive points scored. The over has hit in 4 straight games for Memphis. Memphis is 11-5 o/u as a road fav.

Pick: Over 237 (.5 units)
