Indiana vs Philly

The 76ers should not be double digit favs against anyone. They are a mess. Which is exactly why I like the 76ers to win big. There is a psychological component to capping that most bettors don’t realize. Books set lines to illicit emotional connection to the obvious side.

And the obvious side is the Pacers. Philly is 0-3. The public will see their record and think they are getting a bargain with the Pacers. After all the 76ers just lost to the lowly Spurs.

Brooklyn vs Memphis

6/9 h2h meetings have gone over. The Griz have started the season 3-0 o/u. This is quite a high line, given Brooklyn being 1-4 o/u in their last 5. But, there is too much offensive skilled players on the court in this game to pass on the over.

Utah vs Houston

The Jazz have been playing lights out. In their first three games they have been underdogs by 9.5 points or more. And they have won all three games straight up. This is a perfect situational loss for the Jazz. They are coming off an upset win last night against the Pelicans. A game they were up by 15 + points and barely won in overtime on a last second buzzer beater. Not only is this a b2b for the Jazz, but also their 3rd game in a different city in 4 nights. They will be playing a hungry Rockets team that has started the season 0-3.

Pick: Houston -1

San Antonio vs Minnesota

This is a great spot for the Timberwolves offense to reveal their fangs. Last season, the Twolves scored 149 and 127 points against the Spurs. This Spurs team will play at the pace set by their opponents. And the Timberwolves will be looking to shoot high volume threes and take advantage of the mismatch in the paint(especially in transition).
